15 Years of Japanese Cinema with Japan Foundation Madrid

Coinciding with the day dedicated to Naomi Kawase, Cines del Sur celebrates fifteen years of the Japan Foundation Madrid as a bridge between Japanese cinema and the Spanish audience. This MOSAICO event brings together its team to review over a decade of bringing to Granada the perspectives, stories, and visual textures of a cinema that continues to discover new audiences in Southern Europe.

The session, free and open to the public like all MOSAICO events, invites discussion about the Festival's Japanese program and the daily cultural outreach work that makes it possible for titles like those in the Kawase retrospective to reach the Isabel la Católica Theater.
