Personal data provided through the Portal will be processed, depending on the channel used, for the following purposes:

– Sending the festival's newsletter to those who have voluntarily subscribed.
– Generating usage and navigation statistics for the Portal (web analytics).

The legal basis for processing data is, as applicable:
– The consent of the interested party (for example, by subscribing to the newsletter or submitting a volunteer application).

– The performance of a task carried out in the public interest or in the exercise of official authority vested in Agencia Albaicín.
– Compliance with applicable legal obligations.
Filling in the fields marked as mandatory in each form is necessary to process the corresponding request; their omission will prevent the requested service from being provided. When processing is based on consent, this may be withdrawn at any time, without retroactive effect, by means of a written request sent to the contact address indicated in section 2.
Generally, data will not be transferred to third parties outside Agencia Albaicín, except where legally required. In cases where the intervention of a third party is necessary for the provision of the service (e.g., the external platform FilmFreeway for film submissions, or providers of web hosting, newsletter delivery, or analytics), such third party will act as a data processor or, where applicable, as an independent controller in accordance with its own privacy policy, which is recommended to be consulted before providing data.
Some of these providers may be located outside the European Economic Area. In such cases, the international data transfer is covered by the guarantees provided by the GDPR (European Commission adequacy decisions, standard contractual clauses, or other equivalent mechanisms).
Data will be retained for as long as necessary for the purpose for which it was collected and, subsequently, for the legal prescription periods applicable to administrative, civil, or other liabilities. Data associated with the newsletter will be retained until the interested party requests to unsubscribe.
Any person has the right to obtain confirmation as to whether Agencia Albaicín is processing their personal data. Interested parties may, where applicable, exercise their rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, objection, and data portability, as well as the right not to be subject to decisions based solely on automated processing of their data, by sending a written request to Agencia Albaicín at the postal address indicated in section 2, or to the contact email address, attaching a copy of a document proving their identity.
They also have the right to file a complaint with the competent supervisory authority, especially if they believe their rights have not been properly addressed:
