In the turbulent China of the 1930s, where tradition and modernity clash at every turn, Xana survives amidst nets, salt spray, and uncertain horizons in a small fishing village. Born on February 22, 1984, in Harbin, Heilongjiang province, Zhou Tienan grew up in an environment shaped by the contrasts of northern China. His artistic calling led him to enroll in the prestigious Central Academy of Drama, where he graduated in Acting as part of the 2003 class. Over time, Zhou has built a versatile career: he has established himself not only as an actor but also as a screenwriter and director, expanding his creative presence across various fields. Born on September 28, 1988, in Qingdao, Shandong province, Yu Ao also pursued an artistic path from a young age. Trained at the same academy —graduating from the Directing program in 2007— she has developed as a screenwriter, director, and actress, establishing a unique voice within the Chinese audiovisual landscape. Coming from a family with artistic interests, Yu Ao shares with Tienan Zhou not only a professional calling but also a shared life story. After nine years of relationship, the couple formalized their marriage in 2019, sealing a union where art and personal connection naturally intertwine.
