In a small town where urban renewal seems to have stopped in time, three high school friends grapple with obsessions that define their days and distort their worldview. Yong-gi proclaims himself an "attention-seeker" and dreams of becoming a superhero; Ji-sook is trapped in a dangerous obsession with losing weight, influenced by pro-anorexia culture; and Dumbo operates in the shadows of the internet, scamming money by posing as a girl online. The fragile balance between them shatters with the arrival of Woo-joo, an attractive transfer student who is not only rich but also influential. His presence acts as a catalyst: Ji-sook immediately falls in love, while Yong-gi —who has long hidden his feelings for her— watches in silence, on the verge of exploding.

Born in 1990, Han Chang-lok trained in filmmaking at two of South Korea's most prestigious institutions: the Seoul Institute of the Arts and the Korea National University of Arts. From his first steps as a director, his work has explored the realm of short films, where he has honed a personal, restless perspective, sensitive to the tensions of contemporary youth. Over more than a decade, he has directed works such as Lovefilm (2013), Saturday Night and Sunday Morning (2014), Bae Chang-ho Show (2019), Peeper (2024), and Rehearsal (2025).
