During the 2003 American invasion of Iraq, a five-year-old Arab boy gets lost. His name is Saddam. Two Kurdish soldiers who fought against Saddam's troops find him amidst the chaos of war. One of them, named Azad, whose brother disappeared during Saddam's operation against the Kurds in northern Iraq, wants to return the boy to his family. But the other soldier, Rashid, who deeply hates Saddam Hussein, refuses to help him because the boy shares the dictator's name, turning the situation into a torment for the little one...

Born in 1973 in Zakho, Iraqi Kurdistan. Forced by the Iraqi army to seek refuge in Iran with his family in 1975, he lived there until 1999. He has worked in theater, television, and film in Iran and Iraqi Kurdistan. His short films have participated in various film festivals and won awards. In 2002, he organized the first edition of the Kurdistan Short Film Festival.
